Troy and Melissa's Little Girl

Trey was trying to tickle Mike. Mike always tries to get Trey, so he wanted to get him first. While I was there, I was able to watch Morgan, Boston and Nixon play basketball. They did so well, running with the ball and being aggressive to get the ball back. They are great basketball players and made several baskets. I felt like I was at a high school game while I was watching them. It is always fun to watch the granddchildren perform. I love watching them swim, in concerts, pageants, games, track, sing, jumping on the trampoline and giving talks. We have very talented grandchildren. Thanks to all of you busy kids taking care of your little families. I don't know how you girls are able to get your families to all of their activities. You are all amazing and we are so proud of all you do. My two regrets are not taking pictures before we left of the boys with her and leaving too soon. I did take pictures with Melissa's camera which were uploaded to her computer and not mine so I could not put them on my blog. But thankful you can see these.

While we were at Melissas home, we did not get any pictures of this beautiful little girl until we were about to leave on Sunday morning. She is so beautiful. Melissa was so worried about what she would do with a little girl, and you know what, she just picked her up in her arms and fell in love with her. She was welcomed by four little brothers that will just be perfect brothers and take care of her. Trey just wanted to touch her and kiss her. We are so excited for Melissa and Troy to have Addelyn Kennedy Stout in their family. Life just gets better and better.

She is so peaceful and beautiful. She is wrapped in a brown blanket, but it has pink, white and green pokadots on the other side. Melissa, we should have wrapped her up in the other side. It was soft too. Melissa loved holding her. We were not help at all to Melissa. I got the little boys cold and wore a mask when I was around the baby. Hopefully, she will not get sick.

Look how tiny she is compared to Mikes big hands. She has such pretty eyes, and would watch the boys as they entertained her. Wish we could have stayed longer to be with their family. We sure do love our family and and is always hard to say good-bye.
