One of the fun things about being a Grandma and Grandpa is we get to watch the kids play in band, watch them in track, watch them graduate and watch them play in sports and be in fun singing programs. Cannon and Carter both play saxophones. I remember watching them practice every day in our home. They really enjoyed playing. They have worked very hard this year and practice in a jazz band early morning. We are really proud of their hard work. Carter plays the bigger one. Think it is an alto saxophone.
As Cannon walks in his place, several of his classmates cheer and say Yeah Cannon.
This is so much fun seeing both of these boys play together. We have loved watching them play baseball on the same team, too. After this great performance, Cannon would be getting ready to go to Lagoon with the eighth grade band, and Michelle was going to be a chaparone. Carter was going to be going camping with his ward. He will be getting ready for Cedar Badge. They sure do keep busy.
Look at the smiles on both Carter and Mike. Sure love you, and you did a great job. The band teacher said they received the highest scores ever in their music festival last week. Michelle took a few videos of them playing, but I could just download one on You Tube.
Cannon and Carter helped take chairs and instruments out to the trailor, so we were some of the last ones in the auditorium. We loved their shirts that say BAND on the back. They had always worn white shirts and ties. Tom and Michelle saved us a place to sit. They told us about the trip they are planning for all four of their boys. So happy they can all go.
