Fun With Troy, Melissa, and Boys

We were able to have dinner at my favorite hamburger spot, In and Out. It is fun seeing Melissa and Troy with their cute little boys. I really enjoyed being with them and seeing their busy lives in Utah. I can see that all of you are busy keeping up with your families and your activities.

Nixon had fun one afternoon playing with the neighbors birthday present. They have a great hill that it so much fun. It reminds me of the hill we had in Moscow when Camille, Jody and Michael were little. You kids would spend hours riding your inchworms and wearing out your K-Mart shoes. Come to think of it, I don't think they did have a K-Mart then.

Morgan came home from school and joined the boys who had been having fun. It had snowed the day before, and now was still a bit cold. The sun was shining though, so it makes it feel good.
He is in a hurry to get on the scooter, but Melissa tackled him for a picture.

Boston and Trey were watching as Nixon showed us how he could get around the driveway.

Melissa and Trey were so cute together. Trey always says cheese when he gets his picture taken. He thinks he is as big as the boys and can do anything they can do.

It is finally Bostons turn. As each of the kids took turns riding the scooter, the other boys were playing "Bayblades" in the yard. Later that evening Morgan, Boston and Nixon were invited to a birthday party and had pizza and movie. Melissa and Troy invited me to an evening of shopping and In and Out hamburgers.

Morgan had so much fun with the scooter. They are very powerful. You know the boys had a great time. Melissa and I would drop the boys off at school, grab a mug and tackle a new day of challenges.

Melissa and I would pick Boston and Nixon up at school, and then go to a park of their choice and spend an hour. We would sip on a mug and watch the kids play. It felt so good to have a bit of sunshine. Springtime has been quite slow coming to all of us.

Melissa decided it looked so much fun, she wanted to climb the toys. The boys always love her to play with them. We loved watching them play with the energy of boys.

This was just such a cute picture of Trey, I just wanted to put it in. He ran as fast as the other boys.

One night we went to a soccer game. Nixon and Boston were on the same team. They just had three show up for the game. So these boys ran their hearts out. We were in blankets watching them, and they were so hot running to make the goals.

Yes, Boston made most of the points and took his team to a win. He was fast and knew just what to do on the field. We just yelled and had so much fun watching them.

Trey was also cheering them on. It is so much fun to see the support the boys have for each other.

This is the new toy the kids are playing with now. Bayblades. Trey can do it just like Boston and Nixon. They sure do have fun.

Melissa and the boys are enjoying roasting marshmellows in their back yard. The Easter bunny brought this for the family. They found their wood on the river bottoms in South Jordan. Troy added charcoal to the wood and made a great fire. Now all we needed was Grandpa to tell us some scarey stories as the sun goes down. Those stores go hand in hand with a fire outside.

Troy wanted to see how the hotdog would taste. They boys just wanted the marshmellows, and really just wanted to see how fast they could burn.

We really loved being in the backyard and having fun together. Yes, even these big marshmellows burn. I told Melissa she would have to buy mini marshmellows.

You wouldn't think that a little fire like that would put out any smoke, but we still had to wash all the clothes and jackets. Look at the boys watching the Indian television as Grandpa would put it.

The boys were so good to stand together for a picture. I told them that I would put it in the blog and they could see it on the computer. It is fun seeing how fast our family is growing. We found out that David and Whitney were having a little girl this week. I was taking Trey on a bike ride when David text. So I called him back while I was going in circles. So excited for them. I had a wonderful time with Melissa, Troy and the boys. Thanks for the fun days.
